Comparison with Infant Optics

"We are about to have our second baby and wanted to switch to a split screen monitor so I could see my 2yo and infant at the same time without having to use a scanning feature. I loved our infant optics monitor that we got in 2023. After two solid years of use the only real issue we were having was that if we left the screen on for our daughters whole two hour nap, we would have to put the monitor on the charger about an hour into bedtime. We just installed our baby sense in both of the girls rooms and I’ve been using it for my 2yo for about a week. Here is a comparison of the 2: -obviously split screen on babysense -babysense displays bigger but requires you to hang the monitor higher to get the full crib than infant optics. -babysense camera turns more, can see the whole room if we wanted. but I find it unnecessary because we really only look at the crib with it. -infant optics felt sturdier. Better plastic, less fearful of dripping the monitor. Babysense feels very cheap in comparison. -Babysense screen is SO MUCH easier to see outside when it’s sunny. Infant optics you could basically just admit you won’t be looking at it at all unless you go in the shade. -sound quality on infant optics was SO MUCH better. Baby sense sound quality is choppy and a bit distorted. My daughter’s sound machine sounded perfectly the same on infant optics, now it sounds in and out like a humming noise. A bit industrial. Hard for me to sleep with it. But then even turned down if my daughter makes a noise it is quite loud, so maybe I just need to play around with sound settings. -adjusting brightness was a button on its own for infant optics, you have to go into settings on Babysense. The lowest brightness is a bit too high to leave on next to your head if you do that. I used to when my daughter was little. Everything else is fairly comparable and not worth mentioning good, or bad. It will do the trick. Honestly really impressed with it for how much we paid for it. Got it on a good sale for about $115. So can’t complain!"

Excellent customer service

"We had an issue with our parent unit and Ravit helped us so well and efficiently. He was quick to respond and gave us simple but detailed explanations as to how to fix the issue. It was all resolved really easily and professionally."

Excellent Customer Service

"I had issues with the monitor upon setup - I was unable to get the parent unit to stay connected when I was more than a few feet from the camera. I reached out to customer service and worked with Ravit and had the best experience! Ravit sent a replacement parent unit and walked us through the whole process. The video quality is great, the reach is very long, and the parent unit screen is a great size - I can rest easy knowing I can check on our baby and get a great idea of how they’re doing at any time!"

Great company and camera

"I got this camera when we knew we were expecting our 2nd and I think it’s brilliant, honestly cannot fault it. Recently we had a little issue with the temperature on one of the cameras, I emailed them on bank holiday Friday and they sent me a new camera even though I was 3 weeks out of my warranty and it arrived today bank holiday Sunday! Great customer service and so fast!!"

Sophie F. (5/5)

Great camera but great customer service

"This camera is brilliant and has everything needed to monitor your babies room. I added an extra camera when baby no2 came. What I do want to call out is the companies customer service. Absolutely fantastic on a couple of occasion. Highly recommend!"

Best baby monitor/camera ever!

"It just works, straight from the box. Connecting the camera to an existing monitor as a second camera is super easy as well. There's a button on the camera itself and a couple of clicks on the monitor's menu. I like the non-wifi connectivity that makes it very safe, without the need to rely on your internet connection to watch your baby. Highly recommended!"

Q&A

Can you have two parent monitors paired to one camera at the same time?
Thank you for reaching out with your query! It’s not possible to connect more than one monitor to the same set of cameras at this time. The system operates on a closed-loop connection, meaning each camera can only pair with one monitor at a time.
I have the max view baby monitor. It came with a screw and the bottom of the camera has a mounting point for the screw. Is this mean to be hung from the wall with the screw? Or sit on a shelf? I did not see any pictures of it mounted with the screw.
You may mount the camera on the wall or place it on a shelf - whichever is best for your needs. To mount on the wall: A hole should be made in the wall of the desired location. Once a hole is made, the plastic plug is inserted for stability. The hole should be the depth of the plastic plug and the screw inserted, leaving a gap of 2mm between the wall/plastic plug and the head of the screw. The camera can then be hung on the end of the screw. The camera needs to be inserted in the bigger opening underneath the camera and slid down so that the screw fits into the more narrow space. There is a part on the underneath of the camera designed for this.
