Shipping Insurance is an optional paid service that you can add to your cart or directly at the checkout page, providing additional protection for eligible orders that are lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping. Shipping Insurance only applies if it was purchased before the order was shipped and cannot be added retroactively. If an eligible claim is approved, the customer may choose between a reshipment, a refund, or an exchange, subject to product availability and Babysense's reasonable discretion. For packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but claimed not to have been received, the customer must contact Babysense and submit a claim within 30 calendar days from the carrier's delivery confirmation date. Claims submitted after this period may be denied, as Babysense and the carrier may no longer be able to reasonably investigate the shipment.

Shipping Insurance does not cover orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If the customer asks Babysense to change the shipping address before the order ships, and Babysense successfully confirms the address change before shipment, the Shipping Insurance will remain valid for the updated address. However, if the order has already shipped, or Babysense is unable to complete the address change before shipment, the order will remain subject to the original shipping address, and Shipping Insurance may be void if the package is lost, delayed, or delivered incorrectly due to the wrong address.

Babysense may request reasonable supporting information before approving a claim, including the order number, tracking details, confirmation of the shipping address, photos in cases of damage, or other relevant information. Babysense reserves the right to deny claims that are late, incomplete, inconsistent with carrier records, related to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or suspected to be fraudulent or abusive. The Shipping Insurance fee itself is non-refundable once the order has shipped, since the protection service is active during transit.
